Handmade from the highest-quality suede or smooth leather, the comfy softness wraps all the way around to the moc’s sole for an almost barefoot feel. These distinct hand beaded moccasins are the perfect way to express yourself.
Minnetonka 0156 - Soft, supple natural smooth leather moccasin with colorful, beaded Indian Thunderbird design sewn across the toe accented by whip-stitching detail. This Minnetonka classic has a decorative layer of fringe topped off with a thin leather bow and wrap around laces for a custom fit. Slip-on comfort with a fully padded insole and a traditional soft sole for authentic moccasin style. Other colors available.

I have been wearing these Moccasins since I bought my first pair in 1952 - yes for over 60 years. I love them. I wear then both inside and outside. For slippers and casual dress. I wouldn't be with them.

Thunderbird
The Men's taupe suede classic moccasin was for my son. He has not worn Minnetonkas since we left USA in 1975. They are still a little tight, but loosening. He does like them. The Woman's grey suede double fringed side zip boot 0691T are lovely. It is the first time I have worn the hard soled boot. I have a hight instep and thought I would never get them on the first time. But I did!!! After 30 mins. I hardly knew I had anything on my feet. I wore them into the nearest town and a sales clerk was very impressed with them. I gave her your email address and hope she ordered something. I normally wear the soft soled Thunderbird moccasin. Every time I went back to Kansas to visit our daughter, I would buy 2 or 3 pair of Minnetonkas. I have tried all the squaw boots, soft soled, with zips in back, which I did not like as the zip hurt my heal, but usually in the side tie with the 2 conches on the side. I think I have tried every color of Thunderbird moccasin possible through the years. I now know how to order online, but have found that it is not through Minnetonka Moccasins but through a retailer. This is fine and I am happy with your site. I am a little disappointed in the Woman's smooth natural leather soft sole Thunderbird Moccasin 0156 as I did not realize it was not deerskin. Hopefully when I start wearing them, I will enjoy them too. I usually wear my Thunderbird soft sole until I get a huge hole in the sole and have to find some vinyl and make an insert for them. I will probably be ordering another couple of pairs of moccasins soon.
